# PeakPact Elite — COPPA Considerations **Effective date:** 15 September 2026 ## Position PeakPact Elite is designed for adults and older adolescents who can lawfully use productivity/discipline software. It is **not directed to children under 13**. ## Age gate practices - Sign-up flows are adult-oriented (email/password or Clerk auth for operators). - Marketing and store listings should not target under-13 audiences. - Where local law sets a higher digital consent age (often 16 in parts of the EU), parental consent or age-appropriate restrictions may apply; operators should configure region-aware consent when expanding into those markets. ## If child data is discovered If we learn we collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent: 1. Disable the account 2. Delete or de-identify personal information promptly 3. Any future education SKU will require a separate agreement and parental consent workflow.
